SignWriter strives to provide you with an optimal printing experience and high-quality final product. If you are providing artwork or graphics for us to utilize in your designs, banners, or signs, please look over the art requirements needed for the best print quality. Banner Art, Sign Art, and Large Format Printing Guidelines
Preferred format – files (.ai or .eps) that are created in a VECTOR program (such as Adobe Illustrator or CorelDraw)
- Do not save files from Photoshop as a .ai or .eps file, they are not true vector files and cannot be enlarged or color separated for vinyl cut signs
- The files should be of an actual size of the desired print or saved as a true vector file that we can resize in our shop if you are printing a large format design
- All text converted to outlines
- Saved in CS3 or an earlier version
- No linked files (all art elements must be embedded within the one art file)
Other accepted file formats (for digital prints on our large format printer):
- .psd, .jpg, or .tiff
- 300dpi resolution preferred (the higher, the better)
- Be sized the actual size of the desired print
